    beautiful veneer!

Posted by Unknown on Sep 10th 2018

The appearance and flatness were beyond my expectations. I used the vertical grain fir and edgebanding to finish my frameless kitchen cabinets. The application was not complicated as the veneer was easy to cut and handle without falling apart in my hands. The paper-backed (bubble-free) is the only way to go. I have used non-backed veneers with a poplar sub-layer (really old school) that required far more work for the same results. I had only a few areas that were visible and to use a matching ply for the entire project would have been wasteful.
Did I mention that it is beautiful?
