Quartered Teak Wood Veneer has really nice vertical and straight lines. Teak for many years was used extensively in boat, ship, and yacht building for rails, hatch covers and furnishings. It was also used as the decks on early aircraft carriers.
Teak is primarily found in Burma and India but can be found throughout all of Southeast Asia. It is also known as Quarter Sawn or Quarter Cut Burmese Teak, Burma Marine Teak Veneer, mai sak, pahi, sagwan, tekku, kyun, sagon, tegina, tadi, jati sak, djati and gia thi.
